ABOUT YOU:

If you are more than 10 years old, and do not enjoy a well rounded aquatics program (or just a quick dip in a pool on a hot day), you are missing out on one of life's greatest treasures.  And I'd be willing to bet that your parents were non swimmers, too!  Caring (and swimming) parents would have prevented you from reaching adulthood without this important tool.

Fear, embarrassment, or just bad information has undoubtedly entered into your decision to avoid water as a factor in your life.  So what happens if an accident, heart attack or stroke shuts down your present method of exercise?  Water therapy will undoubtedly be recommended.  Will you say: "I can't?"

Adults take all types of self-improvement courses: golf, tennis, aerobics, bridge, etc.  But a non swimming adult will almost never go to a swim school.  Who wants to be shown up by a bunch of 5 to 10 year olds?

Will you spend a few dollars, with a money back guarantee, to add swimming and aquatics to your health and fitness program and to assure that your children do not grow up with a similar limitation?

ABOUT ME:

Me and one of my favorite students
(My granddaughter)

As a child, my parents took me to the seashore or a lake for summer vacations.   I do not remember ever having taken a swimming lesson.   My parents or my older brothers, or just the interaction with other children, resulted in my learning how to swim.   In high school I swam on our city championship swim team and during college, I became certified as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, worked as a lifeguard and was the waterfront director at a summer camp.

As a lifelong swimmer (and water lover), I always took it for granted that everyone knew how to swim.  When it finally dawned on me that this was not true, I undertook some research and could find very little written on the subject and very few teachers specializing in non-swimming adults.  And I concluded that by my definition, over 95% of adults are non-swimmers!!!
